What's Happening this Week: Arthur Memes

Every morning I wake up, thank God for the day, and check every last social media app on my phone. I still haven’t decided which social media platform has the most LIT content to look back on after a crazy night, but Twitter is number one for me right now. One morning I took my daily scroll down my timeline and came across pictures of one my favorite childhood cartoons. It just so happened to be Arthur and his gang in numerous memes. The captions on the crafted memes made by my peers and other tweeters, literally made me ‘LOL’ to the point that I shed a few thug tears because they were that funny to me. Most of the captions were jabs at all of different scenarios an individual might fall into in their life, whether it be on a college campus or in a relationship with a loved one, there was an Arthur meme for it. Here are a few that really hit the nail on the head:

The assortment of memes kept rolling for hours and before you knew it, Arthur was the top trend of the day. I found myself liking so many of them that I had to tell myself to stop hitting ‘retweet’ and ‘like’. I laugh just thinking about it. There were so many that I could relate to. Just know, if you’re a Twitter user and you decide to take a peep at what was said, you WILL find at least 2 you can relate to. Bet on it.
