Hello July!

July is finally here! Even though the 4th has already passed, we’ve got some super cute outfits to wear even after the fireworks. Because, who said you still can’t be festive after the Fourth of July? Nobody. July is considered the midway point of the summer and we’re often given multiple opportunities for cookouts or other random gatherings that will have you up until 1 am or later. Why not do these things in style?! This summer’s trends have been pretty constant, with a plethora of clothing stores bringing constant new arrivals, you don’t want to miss out on summer cops because cold weather is soon to follow. To keep up with what’s hot on the street, to accommodate the temperature, check out these Polyvore sets for inspiration!

Pick something cute and laid-back when you hit your local cookout this month. If you’re not a big fan of baseball caps, switch it up with a wide-brimmed fedora hat to help block out the sun.

An all white outfit is what I consider to be the most sophisticated summer look (it looks best with red lipstick). Wear something sassy like this on a date with “bae” or to a day party with friends. Open-toe booties have been pretty hot for a while now, so don’t think you can’t wear them anymore. Lastly, oversized purses can be a hit or miss because you don’t want to carry around small luggage but you also don’t want to forget a beach towel or booze. An oversized purse should fit a standard sized binder in it, to give you an idea of proportions. Find a nice neutral color like black, wheat/beige, or even heather grey. Don’t forget to bring snacks for day munching, no one will ever know you’ve got it packed in there! Stay cool my friends!

If you haven’t already, follow Hello + Twice on Polyvore!
